Plethora
Today it occurred to me that I use an inordinate amount of dishes when I cook. I was just throwing together a simple little breakfast of sliced kielbasa, an egg-over-easy, a bit of baguette, and some coffee and OJ, when all of a sudden, I had a whole sinkful of dishes to clean. To wit:
- Item: 1 small chopping board
- Item: 1 knife
- Item: 1 frying pan
- Item: 1 wooden spatula
- Item: 1 mosaic-patterned coffee mug
- Item: 1 16-oz. tall glass
- Item: 1 glass plate
- Item: 1 fork
- Item: 1 chopstick (used to stir my juice diluted with a little water)
Had I been scrambling eggs I might have added an extra bowl to my list. Cooking solo is not always easy. At least you have helper(s) when cooking for more than one...
